Brockton Attorney, Kenneth J. Goldberg

About Ken

I’m Ken Goldberg. My law practice, The Law Office of Kenneth J. Goldberg, has been serving the needs of residents and business owners since 1992. From our offices in Brockton, MA, we specialize in real estate, personal injury and litigation matters.

I understand that the process of selecting and working with an attorney (even initially deciding if you need one) can be complicated, even a bit overwhelming. That is why I have designed this website: to tell you more about myself and my firm, and to provide you with information to answer some initial questions.

Let me begin with a little background. I am a native of Brockton, MA and current resident of Needham, where I reside with my wife, Jeanne, and our three children. I earned my Juris Doctor from the Boston University School of Law, and an undergraduate degree from Tulane University. Upon graduation from law school, I was affiliated for several years with the Boston area firm Goodwin Procter before striking out on my own.

I’ve been asked a number of times what led me to the practice of law. There are really two separate reasons. First, I grew up around it. My father, David Goldberg, was a practicing attorney; and accordingly the idea of practicing law held appeal for me from a very early age. I’ve also been told that the practice of law suits my personality. I am a problem-solver by nature. I am analytical; I enjoy helping people see things in the simplest, most direct way.

My role as an attorney is to help my clients achieve the best possible outcome for their situation, being mindful of both their time and their budget. Whether you are purchasing a condominium, refinancing a home, or have been injured in a car accident or a slip-and-fall, you should have someone on your side who knows the law, understands how to achieve the desired result, respects your situation and your wishes, and communicates clearly and helpfully with you.

When I’m not busy with the practice of law, I enjoy sailing on Martha’s Vineyard, helping fundraise for my alma mater Milton Academy, and working out at a local CrossFit gym. I serve on the Lawyers’ Council for the Newton Needham Chamber of Commerce; but, of course primarily, I enjoy spending time with my family.

If you would like to talk in a no-obligation, no-pressure setting, please give me a call. Or e-mail me. Then, come by the office for a conversation.

Sincerely,
Ken
